Dear Professor Vidler, 

L’Érudit franco-espagnol (LEF-E) is pleased to announce the launch of a new,
peer-reviewed, open-access online journal dedicated to publishing scholarly
essays that engage issues and ideas in connection with the literatures and
cultures of France, the Francophone countries, Spain, Latin America, and the
Hispanic population in the United States. LEF-E is looking for contributors
and journal referees for its first issue, which is forthcoming in Spring
2012. The last date of submission of papers for inclusion in the first issue
is January 15, 2012.

Contributors

LEF-E accepts esays in English, French, or Spanish and invites the
submission of original research in the following fields:

*	French Literature
*	Francophone Literature
*	Spanish Literature
*	Latin American Literature
*	Comparative Analysis 

LEF-E welcomes submissions from both experienced academics and young
scholars.  The recommended length for submissions is between 4,000 and
10,000 words. Essays to be considered for LEF-E must be submitted
electronically to the Editor ( <mailto:editor at lef-e.org> editor at lef-e.org).
Please submit each essay in Microsoft Word format along with an abstract and
a brief bio-bibliography. The essay must be formatted according to the style
guidelines of the MLA Handbook for Writers of Research Papers, 7th ed., by
Joseph Gibaldi. For more information regarding contributing an essay to

Referees 

Referee will be asked to review a maximum of four articles per year. If you
are interested in becoming a referee for LEF-E, please email your résumé as
an attachment to the Editor at editor at lef-e.org. In the body of the email,
please indicate your area(s) of specialization and interest and the
language(s) in which you feel confident working in (English, French, or
