CFP: “The Persilesat 400” - SCMLA 2017, Tulsa, October 5-8


Papers are sought for a proposed special session devoted to Los trabajos de Persiles y Sigismunda atthe South Central MLA's 2017 convention in Tulsa, October 5-8.  This year’s conference theme is “MovingWords: Migrations, Translations, and Transformations”: “a call to consider howwords record, dramatize, and inspire the movements of people.”  Proposals related to these aspects of the Persiles are especially welcome.


Please send titles and 250-word abstracts to ChristopherWeimer (christopher.weimer at okstate.edu) by February 3, 2017; notification byFebruary 15th.  Allparticipants must be SCMLA members when the session proposal is submitted, so speakerswhose papers are accepted must join SCMLA no later than Friday, February 24th.
