<div class="MsoNormal">Papers are sought for a proposed special session devoted to <i style="mso-bidi-font-style:normal">Los trabajos de Persiles y Sigismunda</i> at
the South Central MLA's 2017 convention in Tulsa, October 5-8.<span style="mso-spacerun:yes">  </span>This year’s conference theme is “Moving
Words: Migrations, Translations, and Transformations”: “a call to consider how
words record, dramatize, and inspire the movements of people.”<span style="mso-spacerun:yes">  </span>Proposals related to these aspects of the <i style="mso-bidi-font-style:normal">Persiles</i> are especially welcome.</div>

<div class="MsoNormal">Please send titles and 250-word abstracts to Christopher
Weimer (christopher.weimer@okstate.edu) by February 3, 2017; notification by
February 15^th.<span style="mso-spacerun:yes">  </span>All
participants must be SCMLA members when the session proposal is submitted, so speakers
whose papers are accepted must join SCMLA no later than Friday, February 24^th. <br>
