[Comedias] Great student opportunity in Almagro, Spain!

I wanted to invite you to share with your students the attached flyer and web link about a special opportunity this summer.

I'll be attending the Festival de Teatro Clasico in Almagro, and will be taking with me a few Master's students from my campus.  I am going to offer an Independent Study for graduate students or advanced undergrads, co-taught with award-winning Hollywood actor, Jose Yenque.

If you have some students who you think are mature, interested in classical theatre, and could benefit from this experience, please forward this to them, and have them contact me for more information.

I'm hoping NOT to take a large group (5-10 max), but would enjoy the dynamics of students from other campuses along with mine.  As you'll see from the flyer, the price is very student-friendly, and no extra out-of-state tuition fees apply.

Students will be reading the plays ahead of time in June, attending the festival for 10 days in July, and completing a research project which they will turn in by early August.  The June and August activities will be monitored online, we will reside together during the festival, then students will complete their research projects after returning from Spain.  Cal State San Marcos is offering 3 units of upper-division undergraduate or graduate credit.
