[Comedias] Zayas in Miami March 2-3, 2023

Great news! The play "Enredos y traiciones," I imagine, an adaptation of Maria de Zayas' "La traición en la amistad," directed by Eugenia Sancho, will be playing in Miami, FL, on March 2 and 3rd. If you are in the area, you may want to come. I've got my ticket for the 3rd!!

Esta propuesta teatral da voz a “La traición en la amistad”, uno de los textos del Siglo de Oro español considerado precursor del feminismo. Está protagonizada por cinco mujeres que luchan por el amor libre con humor e inteligencia. Enredos y traiciones es teatro en verso, con la esencia del teatro clásico, pero con un lenguaje escénico natural y cercano.
