If you're only looking for TIrso, I think the look-alike problem is the plot of El árbol de mejor fruto. I'll plug En la vida todo es verdad y todo mentira in which two young men of the same age are hard to differentiate. If you want actual twins, then Ursón y Valentín. I know there are a ton of plays about twins, but I just haven't had my coffee yet.
Yours,
John

Subject: [Comedias] Query: Comedia Look-Alikes?
Saludos!
A quick question for the all-knowing comedia hive mind: besides Tirso's El castigo del penseque, do people know of any other comedias in which the plot hinges on a character's being (mis)taken for someone else due to an unusual degree of physical resemblance? Any comedias involving look-alikes or twins?
Thank you!
Chris Weimer
