How did Spanish and English authors react to the Treaty of London?

How does the Treaty inform our understanding of literature from 1604-1625?

How are Anglo-Spanish relations depicted in works from the years of the
Treaty?

This panel is interested in works by Spanish or English authors that were
written during the years of the Treaty of London (1604-1625) and which
directly or indirectly provide commentary on the international relations
between the two empires. Presentations should not exceed 20 minutes. A
slight preference will be given to presentations on works of theater, but
all abstracts will be considered based on their merit and the preference
for topics on theater will only take effect as a means of deciding between
two equally acceptable abstracts.

Please send 300-word abstracts to Robey Clark Patrick (patrick.161 at osu.edu)
or Victoria Muñoz (munoz.55 at osu.edu) by 21 March 2016.

The 2017 Modern Language Association Annual Convention will be held in
Philadelphia, PA, from 5 to 8 January, 2017.

Sincerely,

Robey Clark Patrick
