Hi Everyone!  I hope this Call for Papers for a panel at next year¹s MLA in
Philadelphia will be of interest to some of you.  Please feel free to pass

Surveillance and Early Modern Spain: Spies, Inquisitors, and Informants
Forum: LLC 16th- and 17th-Century Spanish and Iberian Poetry and Prose
How literature evinces the scope of early modern surveillance and provides
tools for analyzing the extension of the surveillance state. 300 word
proposals by 15 March 2016; John Slater (jslater at ucdavis.edu) and Leah
Middlebrook (middlebr at uoregon.edu).
