[Comedias] Cervantes's The Sultan's Queen (La gran sultana) on stage in London

Pericles and The Sultan's Queen (Cervantes's LA GRAN SULTANA) at the Rose
Theatre in Kingston-upon-Thames (London) at 11:00, 3:00, and 7:00 PM on
Friday July 25th and Saturday July 26, 2014. This innovative theatrical
production juxtaposes an adaptation of Cervantes's The Sultan's Queen with
an abridgment of Shakespeare's Pericles, Prince of Tyre. There are several
important themes and plot elements common to both of these plays, and they
are being paired to highlight Cervantes's and Shakespeare's shared roots
and interests. The production will last two hours total, with no
intermission. Audience members will be able to move their chairs around a
bit. Only 30 seats available per performance, so get your tickets now!
