I am hoping that someone can help me with the following versos from Act III
of Lope's *La prueba de los ingenios*:

"¿De cuál hombre se ha contado

que, suelto de la leonera

del Duque, un hijo le quite

una mujer en Florencia
que le llevaba en la boca."

They appear in a passage listing "mujeres sabias" but I have not yet been
able to figure out who they refer to. My understanding is that Lope
probably found the reference in Textor's *Officinae*, but unfortunately, I
don't read Latin well enough to consult that book.

Any leads would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you,
DeLys
