I've included below the schedule for this year's Siglo de Oro Drama Festival at the Chamizal National Memorial.

Chamizal staff have asked again this year for volunteers from AHCT to lead discussion sessions after the performances.  If you are willing, please contact Mr. Martin Christiasen at: Martin_Christiansen at nps.gov.

Wednesday and Thursday, March 7 & 8,  7:00 p.m. Antona García, by Tirso de Molina.  English translation by Jason Yancey.  Entremeses, “Los muertos vivos,” and “El maríon,” translated and adapted by Jason Yancey and James Bell.  Directed by Karen Libman.  Departments of Theater and Modern Languages, Grand Valley State University.

Friday, March 9, 7:00 p.m.  Tiempo de Carnaval  (Three short plays:  “El abedejillo,” by Luis Quiñones de Benavente;  “El poeta,” by Agustín Moreto; and “El entremés de las Carnestolendas,” by Pedro Calderón de la Barca).   Directed by Francisco García Vicente.  Cambalache Teatro, Murcia, Spain.

Saturday, March 10, 7:00 p.m.  Los milagros del desprecio, by Lope de Vega. Directed by Francisco García Vicente.  Cambalache Teatro, Murcia, Spain.

Sunday, March 11,  4:00 p.m.   Tiempo de Carnaval.   Encore matinee.
