[Comedias] Opportunity to host "Jazz Club Polonia" on your campus

Dear Colleagues:

One of the groups that will be performing this March at Chamizal has contacted me in search of assistance in expanding their tour.  The company, EdeStreno, is from Spain, and will be performing a version of La vida es sueno, called Jazz Club Polonia.  As long as they have made the long trip to the U.S., they would like to take advantage of their time here, and have their work seen in other places in the U.S.

I invite you to read the e-mail below from their director, Jesus Manchon, as well as to scroll further down for links to Youtube clips of their performances, links to reviews, etc.  Upon request, I can also send you a copy of the play script, performer CVs, and staging details.

Te informo que, definitivamente, actuaremos con "Jazz Club Polonia"
el 2 de marzo en El Paso y el 3 de marzo en Ciudad Juárez.

Serías tan amable de facilitarnos el contacto de alguna organización
que pudiera estar interesada en nuestra representación para intentar
ampliar la gira porque, en base a la conversación telefónica que mantuve
con Dora Martínez en Septiembre, me comprometí con mi equipo a que
haríamos 3 ó 4 representaciones en México, y, con independencia de
este contratiempo, una vez cruzado el charco lo que nos interesa es
que se vea nuestro trabajo lo máximo posible. Nosotros seríamos muy
flexibles en las condiciones, y, además, como viajamos sin escenografía,
para ampliar las opciones de representarla, hemos montado desde una
lectura dramatizada hasta una versión entorno a un piano de cola, pasando,
lógicamente, por la original que podréis ver en los Festivales.
