[Comedias] GEMELA conference deadline: April 15

Dear colleagues:

Please remember that April 15 is the new the deadline to submit
abstracts for the upcoming GEMELA conference, to be hosted by Loyola
Marymount University in Los Angeles, California, on October 2-4, 2008.

The conference will focus on women's cultural production in Medieval
and Early Modern Spain and Colonial Latin America. We welcome
interdisciplinary papers and suggestions for discussion panels and/or
workshops on theory, pedagogy and other related topics. Papers may be
delivered in Spanish or English.

Please send one-page abstracts in Word format by 15 April 2008 to:
gemela2008 at yahoo.com with subject line: 2008 Abstract.
