CALL FOR PAPERS AHCT 2006 SPECIAL CONFERENCE     

 

AHCT Spanish Golden Age Theater Symposium  Joint Meeting with the AEEA (Asociación de Escritoras Españolas y Americanas).

 

5-7 October 2006 Georgetown University.

 

The AHCT encourages studies on ALL aspects of performance of Siglo de Oro dramatic texts.  Proposals for papers or sessions on all topics related to Siglo de Oro dramatic texts are also welcome. This conference is not limited to women dramatists. Papers should be 20 minutes in length, in Spanish or English.  Please indicate a preferred day for your presentation.

AHCT Conference Registration:

 

You must be a member of the AHCT to register for the conference.  If you are not currently a member, please send membership dues of $30 to Professor Anita K. Stoll at the address below.  Please make all checks payable to AHCT.  Indicate at the bottom  left-hand corner of your check whether the payment is for dues or conference registration.

 

For registration for the conference, please send you name, affiliation, address, telephone, and e-mail address, with a check for $100 (faculty) or $30 (students).  Please keep registration and dues as separate checks.  Send registration by 1 June, 2006 to:

There will be a late fee an additional $10 for registration after September 1, 2006. 

 

Registration includes conference attendance, a Banquet together with the AEEA, the performance of Friendship Betrayed at Georgetown University, transportation to and from the Gala Theatre, and coffee and refreshments during the conference.  Entrance to the Gala Theatre for the performance of Ana Caro’s Valor, agravio y mujer is an additional $20.
